Medical Women’s International Association

WiMIN is a member organisation of the Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA)

In July 2019, at the MWIA centennial congress, WiMIN became formally affiliated with this international network of organisations which support female doctors around the world.

The MWIA was founded in New York in 1919, and its first president was Dr Esther P. Lovejoy (USA).

The Association now includes members from six continents and 52 countries.
